About Scotland Mould Removal
We're a free matching service, not a contractor. We don't employ surveyors or tradespeople and we don't carry out any work. We connect homeowners, landlords and letting agents in Scotland with independent damp and mould specialists who do.
Why the site exists
Finding someone to deal with mould shouldn't be hard, but search for it in most Scottish cities and you'll find a mix of national cleaning companies, damp-proofing firms and very little explaining what the work involves or what it costs. Landlords now have legal deadlines to meet as well, which makes a slow search more than an inconvenience.
So the site does two things. It explains the problem plainly: what causes mould, what fixing it involves, typical prices and what the law now says. And it gives you a single place to ask for a quote from someone local.
What we will and won't do
- We pass each enquiry to one specialist covering your area, never a list.
- We don't charge you anything.
- We don't take enquiries from tenants or pass tenants' details to contractors. Tenants get our guide to their rights instead.
- We don't publish reviews, ratings or testimonials we can't verify, so you won't find any here.
- We don't make claims about mould and health. For that, speak to your GP or NHS 24.
- We don't give legal advice. Our Awaab's Law guide is general information with links to the official sources.
How we're paid
Specialists may pay us for enquiries in the areas they cover. You pay nothing, and that arrangement doesn't change the price you're quoted.
Who runs it
Scotland Mould Removal is run by Ajay Singh, trading as Scotland Mould Removal (sole trader). You can contact us at enquiries@scotlandmouldremoval.co.uk.
