What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect what you put in the form:

If you tell us you're a tenant, the form doesn't send anything. If a tenant's details reach us some other way, we delete them and don't pass them on.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We use your details to pass your enquiry to one independent damp and mould specialist who covers your area, so they can contact you about a quote. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us; that stops us sharing your details from then on but doesn't undo anything already shared.

Asking how your job went

The form has a second box, which is optional and left unticked. If you tick it, we may get in touch after the work, by email or phone, to ask how it went: whether the specialist turned up when they said, did the job they quoted for, and charged what they quoted. We use your answers to decide which specialists we keep passing enquiries to.

We won't publish what you tell us, or use your name anywhere, unless we've asked you first and you've said yes.

If you leave the box unticked, we won't contact you about this. If you tick it and change your mind, reply to any follow-up or email enquiries@scotlandmouldremoval.co.uk and we'll stop. This is a separate consent from the one that lets us share your details, so you can withdraw one and keep the other. We only contact you about it while we still hold your enquiry, which is up to 12 months.

Who we share it with

We share your enquiry with one independent damp and mould specialist covering your postcode. Once they have it, they're responsible for how they use it, under their own privacy notice. We don't sell or share your details with anyone else.

Our website and form run on Cloudflare, which receives form submissions on our behalf. Each enquiry is then emailed to our inbox through Resend, an email delivery service. We don't keep enquiries anywhere else. Cloudflare and Resend may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 12 months, then delete them. We may keep a note that an enquiry was made, with no personal details, to count how many we receive.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email enquiries@scotlandmouldremoval.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If we've already passed your enquiry to a specialist, we'll tell you who so you can contact them too.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn't set cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies or store anything on your device, and it doesn't track you across other websites.

Terms of use

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.

Get a free quote

This is a free matching service, not the firm doing the work. We pass your details to one independent damp and mould specialist who covers your postcode. They contact you, arrange a visit and quote you directly. You don't pay us anything.

We are not taking enquiries through this form yet. It opens shortly.

Are you the owner, landlord or letting agent, or a tenant? required

Tenants: we don't pass tenants' details to contractors. Your landlord has to deal with damp and mould, and we'll show you how to make them.

One photo, under 8MB. It helps the specialist give you a rough idea before they visit.

Free, with no obligation to accept the quote.
