One form, one specialist, no charge to you.
Scotland Mould Removal is a free matching service. We are not a damp or mould company and we don't do any of the work. Our job is to get your enquiry to the right independent specialist.
1. You tell us about the problem
The form asks for the postcode, the type of property, what's affected and what you can see. A photo helps if you have one. It takes a couple of minutes.
If you rent your home, the form will stop you there and point you to our tenants' guide. Your landlord is responsible for damp and mould, so we don't pass tenants' details to contractors.
2. We pass it to one specialist
We read every enquiry ourselves and send it to one independent damp and mould specialist who covers your postcode. Only one: we don't sell the same enquiry to several firms.
We don't vouch for the specialist or the quality of their work. Your contract is with them, not us, so it's worth asking the questions on our mould removal page before you go ahead, and checking any guarantee they offer.
3. They contact you and quote
The specialist gets in touch by phone or email, usually to arrange a visit. They'll look at the problem, tell you what they think is causing it, and give you a price. There's no obligation to accept.
4. You decide
If you go ahead, you deal with the specialist directly from then on. If you don't, that's the end of it.
What we do with your details
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months and then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner. Full details are in the privacy notice.
Common questions
Why only one specialist?
Because that's what you're agreeing to when you tick the consent box, and because being rung by five firms at once isn't much fun. If the quote doesn't suit you, you're free to look elsewhere.
How do you make money?
Specialists may pay us for enquiries in their area. That never changes the price you're quoted, and you never pay us anything.
What if nobody covers my area?
We'll tell you, so you're not left waiting, and we won't pass your details to anyone.
